On March 19, the New England Branch of AALAS is hosting speaker Dr. George Lathrop, Deputy Chief for the Animal Resources Branch for the CDC's National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Disease. He will be speaking about the research being performed by scientists around the globe in response to the recent issues with Ebola. The New England Branch would like to open up this event to all of District 1 AALAS branch members at no cost. The venue has a limited seating of 300 people, therefore we would require pre-registration in order to attend, which will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
